Hello, my name is Annabelle Santos and this is The Daily Word.
I am here today to bring to you a fun and engaging five minutes of laughter and love, so let's see if I can pull that off.
I'd like to start with a song that inspires me, and today's song is I Believe I Can Fly, by R. Kelly. The reason why this inspires me is because we've all been in that place where we didn't think we could do anything more, or anything better, and this song lifts me up.
Today's word is Believe.
Believe.
Believe is stronger than just hoping. It's stronger than wanting. It's fully committing yourself to an idea that something is possible and you can actually achieve it through your own effort.
There are two quotes that I really enjoyed reading. One is by Brian Tracy, "when you develop yourself to the point where your belief in yourself is so strong that you know you can accomplish anything." That goes to support what I originally said, which is that your belief in yourself is so strong, it's not a belief that something will happen, or that you'll get something, or something from outside of yourself will happen to you. It's a belief that you, yourself, without question, with complete visualization, that something is going to happen. You see it happening, you see yourself doing it. That's belief. That's really believing.
There's been so many times when I just didn't know how to how to make Spadet
grow faster. I've been at this a very long time, and I've been an entrepreneur for a very long time. I've had two other businesses prior to this; one was a
holistic studio where I taught classes that connected the mind, body, and spirit,
called Be Presented. The next one was called Biotic Solutions, which was a DNA sequencing company. If I had stuck with either of those two businesses, then I would have been providing the first of those types of services because
I was a little bit before my time. But, those experiences led me to creating Spadet for what it is today. Not what it what it was last year, or when I started, but what it is today. My very, very insightful son said to me, "Mom, if you had succeeded with those companies the way you wanted them to be, and to become, then Spadet wouldn't exist today, and that would be a disservice to
all the people that you help."I suppose, then, that's great. Let me embrace and believe that this is truly my path.
This takes me to the second quote, by Barbara Pletcher, "the real winners in life are the people who look at every situation with an expectation that they can make it work, or make it better." There have been moments where I didn't
know where to turn, or if I can do this any longer, where that feeling of failure keeps you up at night and haunts you. You ask yourself, "am I doing what I'm supposed to be doing in life? Is this worth it, all the sacrifice?" And then, something great will happen. Something out of nowhere will just come to me as an opportunity that takes my work to the next level, and recently that has been
happening over the last couple of weeks, so I'm just really really excited and grateful that I believed in myself for all this time.
I want you to believe in yourself. I want you to think about that unimaginable thing and say, "I'm going to conquer that. I'm going to make that happen because I believe that it's possible. I'm going to do everything in my power, with all of my effort, to make it happen." I am here for you. I believe in you. And together, I think we can do some great work.
Have a great day. Thank you for joining me, and see you next week for some more laughter and love. Let's do great things.
Love this- believe!
