The same exact thing can look like a completely new idea, new opportunity. It's like putting on a new lens and saying, "what can I see now? What is there to offer me today that I didn't take advantage of before because I was too stuck in my old ways?" So, if we take a couple of steps forward, we can make a plan to define new boundaries for ourselves. We're not going to do that thing that we know crushes us for days anymore. Or, if we do it, we do it knowing that it's going to crush us for the next three days. We're going to guard ourselves from energy drainers; we all have them in our lives. If you need to, take a moment to just say "no". Take care of yourself, and surround yourself with like-minded people. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to feel inspired by your surroundings, and to just laugh. To belly laugh. To find humor in the littlest things because the person you're with wants to do the same thing you're doing. Put those people front and center in today, into your life, into your mind. Enjoy their company, and let them enjoy yours. And finally, try new things. We have to be open-minded. We have to come out of our set patterns that may not be serving us, especially in this new spring, in this resurgence from the fear presented by walking out of our homes and being in groups. Let's try to play. Let's try to explore, and let's laugh. Let's enjoy good food with people we like, and seize the day. I think we all deserve it. We have been struggling and sacrificing for way too long, and the time is now. So join me as I reset, as I embrace the new things that are coming. Keep your eyes open because they're there. You gotta see them. You gotta recognize that they're waving at you, saying, "hey, how about this?"
I think it'll work out. I think that we will all be in a better place by the end of the summer after we've smelled the roses, looked at the sunsets, and enjoyed some sunshine.
So, that's all for today.
