Hello, my name is Annabelle Santos and I am the Founder of Spadét (pronounced spa day).

I am an entrepreneur, a mother, a wife, a mentor, and a friend. I was the first member of my family to be born in America.  My mother worked 3 jobs trying to provide for our family.  My father made less than today’s minimum wage. When he wasn’t working, he was driving my mother from job to job, waiting in the car until her work was done.  I knew from a young age that I had to strive for a better future for my children, with a greater vision to help all children. I wanted to make the world a better place.

I began developing Spadét products in 2008 using the very best ingredients, to cleanse, nourish and protect my daughter’s skin  because she suffered from extreme eczema. I was unable to find a solution to relieve her pain using conventional products.   With my background in biochemistry and natural remedies, I researched, experimented and developed products that restored her skin to balance and prevented future flare ups.  Through the years, I continued to create more solutions for other skin and hair concerns.

Spadét is committed to using pure, all natural ingredients that are safe and beneficial for sensitive skin, and all skin and hair types.

We source our extra virgin olive oil from a local US farm, where it takes 30 days to saponify the oil into soap and glycerin. We have a 19th century cold-process (no heat) that retains the vitamins, antioxidants and antibacterial properties of olives to make the purest, safest and most nourishing soaps, moisturizers and shampoos for the skin, body and hair. Because our products are pure and hypoallergenic, they are gentle and safe for all ages,  and recommended for people who suffer from skin sensitivities.

By fostering a community that appreciates the world’s natural resources, promotes wellness, and encourages personal and professional growth, we can create a better future for our children and the earth.

I am proud to be working with NYC Administration for Children’s Services to provide products for children who are less fortunate.  I am on the advisory board of WEALF, Women Entrepreneur Action Loan Fund, as a mentor to other women entrepreneurs as they try to create a sustainable small business.  Lastly, I offer workshops for those who want to learn how to make all natural products.

My goal as an entrepreneur is  to bring comfort and confidence to others through my work, and inspire women to persevere.

Thank you and Be Well,
